Location: Long Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City , Dong Nai Province

2. INFRASTRUSTURE
a) Transport

The internal road system with sidewalks, shade trees and lighting has been completed for the first phase. All the roads are asphalted. The main roads are 52m wide and secondary roads 24m wide.

b) Communication

A telephone exchange with 960 lines is located in the indus­trial park.

c) Utilities
  • Power supply: the 120MW power plant (Amata Power Bien Hoa) in the industrial park currently operates at the capacity of 13MW and a 40MW power station receives electricity from the national power grid
  • Water supply: water comes from Dong Nai Water Supply Company. The water supply system runs along the internal roads across the leased plots. A tank for reserve underground water is available in the industrial park.
  • A drainage system for waste and rain waters
  • A waste water treatment plant with a designed capacity of 4,000 cubic meters per day currently operates at 1,000 cubic meters per day
  • A fire control system is installed along the internal roads.
3. TARGETED INDUSTRIES
  • Automobile spare parts, con­construction steel, steel pipes, floating glass.
  • Electronics and household electronics - Plastics, rubber, chemicals, agrochemicals, paint.
  • Food and aquatics processing.
  • Textiles and garments.

4. LAND RENT AND OTHER FEES (VAT EXCLUDED)
  • Land rent: USS38/aq. meter until 2044
  • Management fee: US$0.08/ sq. meter/month
  • Waste water treatment fee: US$0.28/cu. meter
  • Water price: VND4,600/sq. meter/month
  • Power price: US$0.073/kWh
5. BUSINESS RESULTS

The industrial park has attracted 40 investment projects worth over US $260 million and leased out more than 70% of its land. Of these projects, one is locally invested and the others are owned by investors from Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Germany, South Korea, the United States, and so forth. These projects are involved in the fields of cosmetics, textiles, packages, bicycle spare parts, molds, etc.
