1. LOCATION

Address: Km 11, Binh Duong Avenue . Thuan Giao Commune, Thuan An District, Binh Duong Province

Area: 47 hectares. First phase: 23.1 hectares (Section A: 18.1 hectares and Section B: 5 hectares). Second phase: 23.9 hectares.

2. INFRASTRUCTURE
a) Transport:

Internal asphalted roads for the first phase are already completed. The main roads arc 20 meters wide and secondary roads 14 meters wide. They can serve container trucks with a capacity of 30 tons.

b) Communication:

The underground cable sys­tem in the industrial park links with Binh Duong's 500 number electronic telephone exchange which guarantees all demands for telecom services.

c) Utilities:

Power comes from the national power grid, via the 3.5MVA transformer station in the industrial park. Water is conducted by a plastic pipeline from Binh Duong Water Plant which is 5km from the industrial park.

The first phase's underground drainage systems for ordinary and industrial waste water are already completed. Industrial waste water is treated for Standard TCVN5945 at each factory before being carried away to the central waste water treatment plant with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters per day.

Inspections for export and import goods arc available in the industrial park.

3. LAND RENT
  • Fees for using the infrastructure and space: US$40/sq. meter (used until 2046)
  • Rent for leasing land again: US$0.57/sq. meter/year
  • Rent for ready built premises: US$1 /sq. meter/month
4. SUPPORT SERVICES
  • Setting feasibility studies
  • Undertaking procedures for investment license applications
  • Providing import licenses for machinery, equipment and materials
  • Providing certificates for tax codes and customs codes.
5. BUSINESS RESULTS

A total of 29 projects have been licensed, with an investment capital of USS60 million. Of these, one project is locally owned; the others belong to investors from Britain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Germany and Japan. The fields of operations of these projects include garments, footwear, shoe materials, food processing, cosmetics, and so forth. Twenty-seven of the 29 projects have come into operation.

100% of the land for the first phase has been leased.
