1. LOCATION

Hoa Khanh IP is situated at Hoa Khanh Three-way Intersection, Hoa Khanh Ward, Lien Chieu District, Danang City.

Characteristics:

  • 10km from Danang Airport .
  • 20km from Tien Sa Port, 13km from Song Han Port, and 5km from Lien Chieu Port which is under construction .
  • Total area: 423.5 ha.

2. INFRASTRUCTURE
a) Transport

Internal transport: more than 1,700 meters of roads has been asphalted. The main roads are 33 meters wide and auxiliary roads 16.5 meters wide.

External transport:

  • By road: National Highway 1A .
  • By rail: Darning Railway Station is one of the main terminals on the North-South rail route.
  • By sea: Tien Sa Port, which is the end of the World Bank-funded 1,450-kilometer TransAsia highway project to link Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, can receive 30,000 DWT ships. Song Han Port is able to serve 5,000 DWT ships.
b) Communication

Danang Post Office guarantees the supply of telecom services for the industrial park.

c) Utilities
  • Power is via the national power grid to the premises of each investor.
  • Water comes from the water supply system of Danang City, with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters per day, which guarantees the full supply of water for the industrial park.
  • Waste water is treated at each enterprise and drained via a system of ditches along the industrial park's internal roads. A waste water treatment plant for the industrial park will be built in December 2002.
  • A customs office is stationed at the entrance of the industrial park.

4. INVESTMENT INCENTIVES

Apart from the common incentives as regulated by law, authorities issue a number of policies on incentives for investors at industrial parks in the city. Following are some incentives:

  • Incentives for corporate revenue tax.
  • Incentives for corporate revenue tax in reinvestments.
  • Tenants are refunded 50-100% of the paid corporate revenue tax of the profit used for reinvestments if meeting the required conditions: reinvesting in encouraged fields, the reinvestment capital is used for three years or more, and the legal capital has been fully contributed.
  • Tax rate on overseas profit remittance Investors pay 3% of the total profit remitted out off Vietnam.
